Product
- What does CaseFirst do?
- It helps you organise a dispute into a structured case file: situation, questions, parties, timeline, evidence, and a free Case Pack you can export.
- Do I need an account to start?
- No. You can start from the homepage. Optionally, save the case to your email with a short-lived magic link so you can continue later.
- What is a Case Pack?
- A printable summary of your organised file — facts, parties, chronology, evidence list, and organisational notes. You choose whether to keep it for your records or share it with an adviser.
Free vs paid
- What is free?
- The organiser, Case File Review (completeness), Case Pack, and evidence ZIP download stay free.
- What costs money?
- Optional one-time CaseFirst AI Review (£9.99) — a file-quality and completeness check only. There is no subscription and no cut of any outcome.
- Do I have to buy AI Review to get a Case Pack?
- No. The Case Pack is free whether or not you unlock AI Review.
AI Review
- What does AI Review look at?
- Text and evidence metadata from your case file (titles, types, descriptions) — not uploaded file binaries. It flags gaps and file-quality issues; it does not give legal advice or predict outcomes.
- Is AI Review legal advice?
- No. It does not assess merits, strategy, or chances of success.
Data & privacy
- Who can see my case?
- Access is via your browser session token or a magic link you request. We do not automatically share your Case Pack with third parties.
- How do I delete my data?
- Export your Case Pack anytime. For deletion requests, use the contact address on the Security page. A self-serve deletion portal is not yet available.
- Where can I read more?
- See Security and the Privacy Policy for hosting, HTTPS, uploads, magic links, and Stripe.
Accounts & magic link
- How does “Save this case” work?
- We email a one-time continue link that expires in about 45 minutes. Only a hash of the token is stored. You can request a new link from Continue if it expires.
- Are there passwords?
- Not for MVP. Access is session- and magic-link based.

- When should I speak to a solicitor?
- When you need advice, representation, or an opinion on legal rights and prospects. Getting the file organised first can help that conversation — it does not replace it.
