Dispute documents checklist

A practical list of paperwork types that usually belong in an organised dispute file.

  • Agreements: contracts, quotes, booking confirmations, terms screenshots.
  • Money: invoices, receipts, bank or card statements, refund confirmations.
  • Correspondence: emails, letters, chat exports — keep dates visible.
  • Visuals: photos, videos, screenshots of listings or defects.
  • Third-party notes: delivery notes, engineer reports, inventories (if you have them).
  • Your notes: short contemporaneous notes with dates (optional but useful).

Label each upload in CaseFirst so the role of the document is obvious. Browse dispute type pages for situation-specific lists.

Remember: Gathering documents is organisation, not legal advice. Completeness of a folder does not decide who is right.
