Small claims prep — organise your file
Get your chronology and evidence pack in order before you use official Money Claims channels yourself. CaseFirst does not file claims for you.
Organisation checklist
- Clear summary of what happened and what you want (your words, as a record of goals).
- Full names and addresses you have for each party.
- Dated chronology of key events and correspondence.
- Amounts claimed broken down (principal, and any other figures you are recording — keep them consistent).
- Evidence list with labels so each document’s role is obvious.
- Copies of letters or emails already sent chasing the issue.
Official Money Claims
If you decide to start a claim, use the official government service. We link it for convenience only — we do not operate it, and we do not file on your behalf:

Always check GOV.UK for current eligibility, fees, and process. This page is prep framing only.
What your Case Pack contains
An organised export of situation, parties, timeline, evidence list, and amounts — useful for your own prep or to show an adviser. Not a completed claim form and not legal advice on whether to claim.
